Bringing Consent Education to Life: ACT4CONSENT Pilots Creative Workshops in Greece
4 Jun, 2025

As part of the ACT4CONSENT initiative, project partners are implementing workshops to pilot the newly developed Teacher’s Handbook, along with a set of videos and tipsheets tailored to second-level school students. This piloting phase serves to assess the effectiveness of the educational materials in encouraging critical thinking and triggering positive change among young participants.

Piloting in Greece
KMOP coordinated the delivery of workshops using drama-based exercises and creative storytelling to encourage reflection on real-life situations related to consent, communication, and healthy boundaries, engaging approximately 100 students  at the 5th Gymnasio Neas Ionias.

Teachers as Key Facilitators
The workshops were delivered by trained secondary school teachers who participated in the Learning, Teaching, and Training Activity (LTTA) held in Rijeka, Croatia, in January 2025. With the support of project trainers, these educators were equipped with the necessary pedagogical tools to guide meaningful discussions and interactive sessions around key topics such as consent, communication, and respectful relationships.

Impact
The piloting activities provided valuable insights from both students and educators on the relevance and impact of the ACT4CONSENT tools in the Greek and European context. This input will be instrumental in refining the project’s resources to ensure they are inclusive, engaging, and effective across diverse educational settings.
